Alejandro Bran and Aarón Salazar Eager to Contribute to Alajuelense’s Success

New additions to Liga Deportiva Alajuelense express determination and enthusiasm ahead of the 2025 Clausura tournament.
Joining Liga Deportiva Alajuelense has been a moment of promise and excitement for Alejandro Bran, the midfielder who arrives from Minnesota United FC of Major League Soccer (MLS).

In his comments shared by the club, Bran highlighted the positive atmosphere and camaraderie within the team, stating, “From the moment I arrived, I felt a good vibe.

Everyone’s been very kind and professional, from the players to the staff.

I've always seized opportunities at each club to learn from great players, and here, I'm sure I'll learn a lot.”

Bran acknowledges the challenges Alajuelense faces in the national championship but remains optimistic.

“I know the league title is the big effort we’re focused on.

Life teaches us that no matter how many times we fall, we need to get back up and move forward.

Bad streaks don’t last forever, and I’m confident that this team will get its turn for redemption,” he affirmed.

Simultaneously, defender Aarón Salazar expressed his delight at fulfilling a longstanding ambition to don the Alajuelense colors.

Salazar emphasized that he joins the club at an ideal time in his career, underscoring the club’s supportive environment as a catalyst for growth.

“They welcomed me warmly, both teammates and coaches.

The engagement and support have been remarkable,” he remarked.

Salazar assured fans of his readiness, noting his physical fitness after participating in the majority of his previous tournament’s matches.

Salazar elaborated on his motivations and outlook, stating, “A lot has been said about my condition, but I’m great.

Five years ago, I wanted to be here.

Now, I have the right tools to mature as an athlete and contribute to the team with my versatility, dedication, and commitment.”

The anticipation builds as Alajuelense prepares to commence the 2025 Clausura tournament on Saturday, January 11, with a home game against Santa Ana at the National Stadium in La Sabana.
