Former Alajuelense player Edward Cedeño has been called up to the Panama national team for the Concacaf Final Four event.
Edward
Cedeño, a former midfielder for Alajuelense, has been named among the six players selected by Panama's national coach Thomas Christiansen to compete in the upcoming Concacaf Final Four.
Cedeño has recently gained recognition after transferring to CF Tarazona, a club in Spain's Primera Federación, where he has continued to develop his professional career.
During his time with Alajuelense,
Cedeño made a total of 30 appearances, logging 1,547 minutes on the pitch.
However, he struggled to find the back of the net, contributing just one assist without scoring any goals.
Panama, with

Following this match, they will either compete for first place against Mexico or Canada or for third place, depending on the outcome of the semifinals.
This tournament is part of a broader effort by Concacaf to enhance the competitiveness of national teams in the region, showcasing talent from various nations as they vie for prestigious titles and qualifications for future international competitions.
