Weather Update: Continued Rainfall and Storms Expected in Costa Rica

High humidity and variable cloud cover forecasted across the nation with significant precipitation anticipated in various regions.
The National Meteorological Institute of Costa Rica has announced that on Monday, April 7, the atmospheric conditions will be dominated by high humidity and variable cloud cover throughout the nation.

This situation is expected to promote isolated precipitation, particularly in the afternoon hours.

During the early morning and morning hours, a mix of partially cloudy and overcast skies will be observed in much of the country.

The most significant rainfall is anticipated in the Central Pacific and Southern Pacific regions in the afternoon, alongside the possibility of thunderstorms.

Occasional rain is also forecasted for the Central Valley, Northern Zone, and sections of the Nicoya Peninsula.

In the Central Valley, cloud cover is expected to remain partial in the early morning and morning.

By afternoon, the sky will become mostly cloudy, with potential for short-duration rains, particularly in mountainous areas.

In San José, temperatures will range from a minimum of 18.2 °C to a maximum of 27.1 °C.

The Northern Pacific will experience mostly clear conditions in the early morning and morning.

In the afternoon, the sky will vary between few and partially cloudy, with possible rain in the Nicoya Peninsula and Tempisque Valley.

Liberia is expected to see temperatures ranging from a minimum of 19 °C to a maximum of 38 °C.

Parrita's temperatures are predicted to vary between 14 °C and 34 °C.

Golfito temperatures will range from 15 °C to 35 °C.

The Northern Caribbean will experience variable cloudiness throughout the day, with scattered rain in the mountains during the afternoon.

Guápiles is expected to see temperatures between 21 °C and 32 °C.

In the Southern Caribbean, conditions will be similar, with the possibility of rain in mountainous areas during the afternoon.

Limón will have temperatures ranging from a minimum of 21 °C to a maximum of 32 °C.

The Northern Zone of the country is also expected to have cloud cover from the early morning.

In the afternoon, rain is anticipated in the mountains, and scattered precipitation is expected in the evening.

Ciudad Quesada temperatures are expected to range from 17 °C to 34 °C.

In San José, sunrise will occur at 5:30 AM and sunset at 5:47 PM. The lunar phase is progressing toward a full moon.
