FC Barcelona Midfielder Gavi Responds to Criticism with Strong Language

In a press conference ahead of a crucial Champions League match, Gavi defends his skills and shares personal insights on his recovery from injury.
Pablo Páez Gavira, widely known as Gavi, the midfielder for FC Barcelona, addressed criticism from the media during a recent press conference.

This event took place in anticipation of the UEFA Champions League quarter-final match against Borussia Dortmund.

Gavi responded to detractors who question his footballing abilities, stating, "It is true that there are many people who think I don’t know how to play football; they have no idea." His comment used strong language, which surprised those present at the conference.

The player expressed confidence in his abilities, stating that he feels fully recovered from a recent injury that had affected his performance.

Gavi acknowledged that while some games may have gone better than others, he is now fit to play.

Additionally, he highlighted the positive trajectory of FC Barcelona, noting the club's recent successes in their matches over the past weeks.

Gavi emphasized his focus on the upcoming first leg of the Champions League tie, which is scheduled for April 9th at 1 p.m. local time.
