Job Opportunities Across Various Sectors in Costa Rica

Luxury hotels, hospitals, municipalities, and companies are seeking to fill numerous positions in Guanacaste and beyond.
Costa Rica's job market is experiencing a surge of opportunities across various sectors, with notable positions available at a luxury hotel in Guanacaste, healthcare institutions, and municipalities aimed at enhancing local employment rates.

In Guanacaste, the Secrets Papagayo hotel, located at Playa Arenilla in the Gulf of Papagayo, is currently recruiting for multiple roles, including restaurant captain, kitchen assistant, bakery chief, chef, sushi specialist, entertainer, stylist, waitress, sales executive, group and wedding coordinator, electromechanical technician, and pool attendant.

Many of these positions require bilingual capabilities in English and Spanish.

Interested candidates are encouraged to attend the recruitment event at the Museo de Guanacaste in Liberia on February 6, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Additionally, the Hospital San Francisco de Asís in Grecia is opening various vacancies as part of its initiative to bolster the healthcare workforce.

The positions available include nursing assistants, professional nurses, nutritionists, secretarial staff, sanitation workers, security guards, and general physicians.

The recruitment event will be held on February 6 and 7, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the hospital's Human Resources Management Unit.

Meanwhile, the Municipality of San José has launched the "Municipal Employment Services" platform to assist job seekers in connecting with potential employers.

This initiative provides services such as career counseling, resume building, and interview preparation.

In San Rafael de Heredia, the local municipality is seeking to hire security guards and police officers.

Applications can be submitted via email, with CVs including pertinent personal details and necessary legal documentation.

The National Insurance Institute (INS) is also actively recruiting, advertising a wide range of positions including human resources generalists, sterilization processing assistants, and various health professionals.

To apply, candidates can visit the INS careers page.

On February 7, the Group Rabsa will host a job fair at the Casa de la Cultura in Alajuela, showcasing opportunities such as drivers, administrative assistants, and mechanics, with specific requirements for each role.

Lastly, Boston Scientific, located in Alajuela, is seeking candidates for positions such as Equipment Engineer and Software Developer.
