Samtec to Host Major Job Fair in Alajuela

Job fair scheduled for March 14, 2025, focusing on production operatives and maintenance technicians.
Samtec, a prominent technology-focused company, is set to host a job fair aimed at individuals seeking employment opportunities.

The event will take place on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the free trade zone in Montecillos, Alajuela.

The company is specifically looking to hire production operatives and maintenance technicians, offering various positions to fill its workforce needs.

For the production operatives role, the job requirements include:
- Completion of high school education.

- Experience in production, manufacturing, and soldering with a soldering iron (preferred).

- Basic proficiency in English.

- Ability to follow instructions and enhance work efficiency.

The role for maintenance technicians demands:
- Technical training in electromechanics, electrical engineering, mechanics, or industrial maintenance.

- A minimum of three years of experience as a maintenance technician.

- Intermediate proficiency in English.

- Competence in oral and written communication.

- Teamwork skills, proactivity, and a focus on continuous improvement.

Prospective candidates are advised to bring a physical copy of their CV and their national identity card to the event.

Additionally, pre-application online is required, and details about available shifts can be accessed through a QR code provided by the company.

It is important to note that Samtec will initially accommodate 200 attendees at the fair, after which applications will only be accepted in the form of resumes.
