On the morning of April 8, 2025, a teacher at the Aserrí High School was assaulted by the mother of a student, prompting immediate administrative responses.

Wilfredo Calderón Vargas, the education supervisor for Circuit 03 of the Regional Education Directorate of Desamparados, confirmed that the teacher plans to file a complaint with the Public Prosecutor's Office.
