Melinda Hildebrand has been officially confirmed as the United States Ambassador to Costa Rica, taking over a key diplomatic post at a time of growing regional cooperation.

Hildebrand’s appointment is expected to bolster joint initiatives in environmental protection, security collaboration, and economic development.

Both governments expressed optimism that the new leadership will deepen bilateral ties and promote shared democratic values across Central America.
