The job fair scheduled for June 18, 2025, aims to connect job seekers with various employment opportunities in the San Miguel de Turrúcares area.
The company CMI Alimentos is set to hold an in-person job fair on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. The event will take place at the former Pollo Rey plant located in Ciruelas de Alajuela, from 10:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. The job fair targets individuals interested in employment opportunities in the San Miguel de Turrúcares region, where CMI is actively seeking to fill several roles, including:

- Farm Operators
- Camera Assistants
- Distribution Assistants (a B2 or B3 driver's license is required)
- Sales Assistants (a B2 or B3 driver's license is required)

Participants are encouraged to bring printed copies of their resumes to the fair.

CMI emphasizes a corporate culture centered on responsibility, excellence, integrity, and respect, and is looking for dedicated talent to join its team.

In related employment initiatives, the Universidad Hispanoamericana (UH) has announced the "Feria Empléate UH 2025" for Saturday, June 14, 2025. This job fair, open to the public, will feature over 3,500 job openings across various sectors, including industry, commerce, tourism, health, technology, pharmacy, customer service, and automotive.

The event will be held at the university’s Heredia campus from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., with 48 national and international companies participating.

Additionally, a virtual version of the job fair will run from June 15 to June 18, 2025, with access to job vacancies and employability resources available online.

The fair aims to assist individuals of all ages and educational backgrounds, with emphasis on those proficient in English.

Free consultations will be offered, including legal labor advice and vocational guidance, alongside opportunities for internships for UH students.

On June 27, 2025, the Municipality of Pérez Zeledón will also host its own job fair from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the Central Park of San Isidro de El General.

This event is designed to connect local job seekers with companies actively hiring.

The involvement of multiple organizations reflects a larger effort to address employment issues in Costa Rica, where the national unemployment rate was recorded at 7.5% in the first quarter of 2025. These job fairs provide vital opportunities for both job seekers and employers in the region.
