On June 16, 2025, a job fair will be held in Desamparados, providing access to over 1,000 vacancies for job seekers.

The event will take place at Casa Acerpa, located in San Miguel de Desamparados, from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M.

Marlon Chaves, the event organizer, announced that more than 20 companies are expected to participate in this recruitment initiative.

Notable companies include Racura, SPS, CTVS, Corporación del Valle Metropolitano, Ferromax, SFA, Pierre Cardin, Penguin, Grupo Montecristo, Hospital Metropolitano, Centroamérica y El Caribe, Grupo GPS, and Marketing Design among others.

The job fair is aimed at attracting professionals for various roles in administrative, commercial, operational, and managerial fields.

Positions will be available for individuals with educational backgrounds ranging from completed primary education to university degrees.

The event is open to all job seekers, regardless of their experience level, and invites applications from individuals aged 45 and over.

To prepare for the job fair, attendees are advised to take several proactive steps.

It is recommended to research the attending companies and the profiles they are looking for, which can help in tailoring applications to specific vacancies.

Job seekers should bring multiple copies of their resumes, appropriately updated and tailored for the types of roles they are interested in.

Dress code is of importance, with participants encouraged to wear professional attire to create a positive first impression, despite the event not being a formal interview.

Attendees should also prepare a brief personal presentation highlighting their experience and skills.

Additionally, engaging with company representatives through thoughtful questions about recruitment processes and career advancement can demonstrate genuine interest.

Following up with contacts made during the event can facilitate networking opportunities, underscoring the importance of maintaining connections after the job fair.
