Naomy Valle Set for U.S. Debut Against Ashley Félix

Costa Rican boxer Naomy Valle will face Tijuana's Ashley Félix on June 28, marking her first fight under Most Valuable Promotions.
Costa Rican boxer Naomy Valle is scheduled to make her debut in the United States on June 28, 2024, where she will face Mexican fighter Ashley Félix from Tijuana.

This event will take place in California, coinciding with a main card featuring YouTuber Jake Paul against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Valle signed a multi-year contract with Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) on March 26, 2024, a company co-founded by Paul.

The bout will be contested in the 108-pound weight class but will not be for the World Youth title that Valle secured in March of this year in Cancun, Mexico.

Valle expressed her excitement in a video announcement, stating, "I am thrilled to announce that on June 28, I will debut in the United States, in California, under the Most Valuable Promotions banner.

I have the honor to fight on the same card as Jake Paul vs.

Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Let’s go all out!"

For over a month, Valle has been training for this fight in Jiquipilco, Mexico, under the guidance of her coach, Jacob 'Panda' Najar, who also trains her sister, Yokasta Valle.

After defeating Yelmi Mexicanita Sánchez on March 1, 2024, in Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico, and claiming the World Youth title in the 108-pound category from the World Boxing Council, Naomy Valle expressed her motivation for her upcoming challenge in the U.S.

“It's going to be a huge platform that I want to maximize to represent Costa Rica and make it clear that women in boxing are here to make history.

I am working hard, focused, and ready to put on a great show.

Thank you to everyone who has believed in me from the beginning,” Valle said.

Valle highlighted her enthusiasm for joining Most Valuable Promotions, which is noted for supporting women's boxing and has organized significant fights, including the high-profile matchup between Amanda Serrano and Katie Taylor.

She stated, “We are very motivated and looking forward to our fight as we start dreaming about a world title.”
