Equifax has broken ground on a new campus in Heredia, raising its workforce in
Costa Rica by 300 employees as part of its sixth local expansion and marking three decades of operations.
The new facility will complement its existing San José site and propel the company past 2,000 workers in the country while enhancing its capabilities in cloud computing, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and other digital services.
The expansion follows a $30 million investment and underscores
Costa Rica’s position as a hub for high‑value knowledge services.
The development is expected to be operational by early 2027 and reflects sustained confidence in the nation’s tech talent and business climate.
