Authorities in Europe have dismantled a major criminal network responsible for trafficking cocaine from Costa Rica to the European continent, with drugs routed through Portugal and Spain before arriving in Belgium.

The operation, coordinated with Europol, resulted in multiple arrests and the seizure of large quantities of cocaine hidden in frozen yucca shipments.
