Lottery Draw Sees Major Wins with Low Numbers in Costa Rica

The latest Chances lottery results reveal significant prizes awarded to players with lower numbers.
The recent draw of Costa Rica's Chances lottery, administered by the Junta de Protección Social (JPS), took place on June 3, 2025, with noteworthy results highlighting the success of players who chose lower-numbered tickets.

The draw was conducted in real time, and the winning numbers have been officially announced.

The biggest prize, amounting to ₡80 million colones, was awarded to ticket number 26, in series 386.

This prize marks a substantial win for the holder, continuing the trend of low-numbered tickets yielding significant rewards in the current lottery cycle.

In addition to the top prize, the second-highest payout of ₡25 million was captured by ticket number 23, series 963.

Furthermore, the third prize was secured by ticket number 98, series 717, which comes with a payout of ₡7 million.

The overall prize pool for this draw reached ₡425 million across two separate emissions, as the larger 'Acumulado 2' prize did not hit this draw, leaving further potential earnings available for future drawings.

Currently, there are 58 additional balls remaining with extra prizes and just one ball still representing the sought-after “Acumulado” prize.

The JPS aims to maintain transparency in the lottery process and mitigate any potential distortions in public discourse related to the draw.
