Strong winds and scattered rains forecasted in multiple regions according to the National Meteorological Institute.
On February 6, 2025,
Costa Rica is predicted to experience significant weather disturbances, including strong winds and scattered rainfall across various regions of the country.
The National Meteorological Institute (IMN) reports that a windy condition will prevail throughout February, with wind gusts expected to range between 40 km/h and 80 km/h. These gusts are particularly noticeable in the Central Valley and the province of Guanacaste.
The humidity levels in nearby ocean bodies remain low, influencing the formation of scattered cloud cover.
This cloud development is primarily observed in the Caribbean, northern zones, and central and southern Pacific areas.
Consequently, light rainfall has been recorded in these regions throughout the day.
During early morning hours, colder temperatures are prevalent in many parts of the country, while afternoon temperatures rise, resulting in warmer conditions in the central areas.
The IMN has advised the public to remain vigilant due to the potential for wind gusts and isolated rains that may affect different regions throughout the day.
