Laura Ortega and her daughter Elisa reach Poltava to join husband Fernán Faerron amid winter conditions.
Laura Ortega and her four-month-old daughter, Elisa, have arrived in Ukraine to reunite with her husband, Fernán Faerron, following a challenging two-day journey from
Costa Rica.
The family traveled together after Ortega decided to accompany Faerron during a visit to watch a match of the Costa Rican national football team.
The couple had been separated since early February when Faerron relocated to Ukraine to play for FC Vorskla Poltava in the country's top football division.
Upon arrival, Ortega and Elisa first reached Krakow, Poland, where they spent a night before embarking on a lengthy 20-hour train journey to Poltava.
Ortega documented the experience on social media, sharing her anticipation for the long train ride ahead.
Laura Ortega has indicated that her stay in Ukraine is intended to be temporary, with plans to return to
Costa Rica after approximately two months.
Preparations for the journey included dressing her daughter appropriately for the colder climate in Ukraine, which has been reflected in the photos shared on her social platforms.
The couple looks forward to their time together as they navigate life in Ukraine amid their family dynamics.
