I have knowledge and experience that we want to share to bring joy, but this must be seen as a family endeavor."

Gómez also highlighted the progress El Salvador has made as a nation but acknowledged that the football team has not yet reached its potential.

He remarked, "Through you, we understand that it is a country that is progressing.

Everything in El Salvador is on the rise, but football is not.

For us, this connection is important because we want you as part of our family."

In response, President Bukele expressed his commitment to seeing the national football team as a "Project Country." He assured Gómez that the government would provide all necessary support to ensure the team's success, stating, "What is needed, we will ask for.

This will not halt for lack of time or approvals.

We will mobilize whatever it takes to make this happen.

This is not a matter of resources; it is not a matter of permissions; you will have them."

Bukele emphasized the societal significance of football in his country, noting, "El Salvador needs to have a good national team.

We are in the process of constructing a stadium that will be the largest in Central America...
